Cork IPT Stop Date Change

€23k Guaranteed Stop Now Friday June 7th – Sunday June 9th

The Irish Poker Tour’s planned Tour Stop in the iconic Macau Casino Cork has been rescheduled from May 24th/25th to Friday, June 7th until Sunday June 9th. Other than the date change most things will stay as they were with a €15,000 guaranteed Main Event over the two days and a €2,000 guaranteed Saturday night side event.

Newly added to the weekend’s festivities is the Macau monthly €5k event which has a €50+€10 buy-in and allows one €50 rebuy bumping the festival guarantee from the original €17K to €23K.

As with many things in the Rebel county, the reasons behind the date change are a little murky.

Something to do with Connie O’Sullivan and a room full of whiskey. Be that as it may, it is a certainty that the event will be a storming success with the usual superb atmosphere and lively banter that the Macau is rightly renowned for. (Especially if there’s any whiskey still around)
