Day 2 Wrap Up
The Main Event Day 1B kept players on their toes with 209 entries battling it out, leaving 95 players still in the hunt. Leading the charge is Sean Burne, who stacked an impressive 310,000 chips to take the chip lead. Early standout Laura Crasenco isn’t far behind with a formidable 200,000 chips, while the ever-entertaining maestro Paul Leckey sits on 115,000, ready to strike.
In the Omaha 7-Max, Shane Keary claimed victory and walked away with €4,000. Ever the character, Keary announced post-win that he’s entering the Main Event and plans to use his shiny new trophy as a card protector. Confidence and style—we love to see it!
Over at the NLH 5K, a big congratulations goes to Helio Neto, who took home the title and €2,000 after an intense heads-up battle against Kyle Slattery. Swiss sensation Maureen Blochlinger rounded out the podium in third place, showing plenty of skill and flair.
And finally, the Main Event Day 1D saw 118 entries, with 23 players punching their tickets to the final. Among the qualifiers is IPT ambassador Dara O Kearney, alongside standouts Joe O’Neil, Sam Zheng, and Keith Touhey, who are all poised for a deep run.
