Great Dane Wins Cork IPT Main Event

Dane O’Donoghue bested a field of 152 to take the Irish Poker Tour Main Event at the Macau Casino Cork last night. Dane and Marian Duta were the last two standing and they came to a nice deal. Dane took home €4,200 plus the trophy while Marian trousered €3,465.

Liz Kelly was there almost to the death again and collected €2,100 in third with Kevin Swayne (€1,450) and Chris O’Hare (€1,000) next in line.

Mike Downey took the Saturday Night NLH after a deal with Manoel Marques Santos.

As per usual in Cork, there was a lively crowd from all across the region determined to enjoy themselves even if the cards didn’t fall in their favour. Better luck next time as we will be back in the Macau in a few months.
