Huge Turnout at €100k for €100 – Donal’s Corner
The €100k for €100 at the Green Isle proved a huge attraction once again with 1,758 entries generating a prizepool of €128,265. Marius Tersanszki, a Romanian happily resident in Ireland for several years, took the title and €15,000 ahead of former Ambassador and huge friend of the Irish Poker Tour, Robbie Bryant who actually took home slightly more cash (€15,665). Robbie also won the ACR freeroll Last Longer for a Venom ticket worth €2,650 which will allow him to play in an online tournament with an $8million guarantee.
ACR and the IPT are hoping to continue their relationship and provide more superb giveaways for our players at upcoming live events.
Next up for the Irish Poker Tour is the incredibly popular Monster Festival. Running from April 30th to May 4th at the Green Isle with a Festival guarantee of over €400,000 and a Main Event entry of only €200 for €250k this will be an incredible, unmissable event.
Happy Easter
Easter is my favourite holiday of the year.
Every year the good people at the Irish Open put on a popular little festival for their regulars. We at the IPT would hate to get in the way of this legendary event.
My wife is a secondary school teacher whose school closes for the same two weeks as the Irish Open which means that we are both free to share some quality time. This year we are spending a week in Georgia touring their famous wineries and tasting their renowned cuisine. Then we are spending a few days in Rome where I hope to share poker strategy tips with Leo XIV.
Meanwhile, all best wishes to our regulars dreaming of Irish Open glory and a place in Irish poker history
