Announcement: Irish Poker Tour and Cotton Club’s Ed Fogarty Link-up
Tour Stop Scheduled for Clonmel February 25th
One of the Irish Poker Tour’s main goals is to spread high-quality poker throughout Ireland. In furtherance of this goal, the Irish Poker Tour is delighted to announce our new agreement with Waterford’s Cotton Club and the main man there, Ed Fogarty. We are happy to promote and recommend the excellently run games at the Cotton Club which is located in Portlaw, 15 miles from Waterford city.
Ed is a massively popular man within the South East poker community as well as an excellent player in his own right. His record in Tour events alone is outstanding having won the Limerick Cup for €24,000, finished second in the Limerick Omaha 7 Max for over €2,000, and split the Mystery Bounty in Killarney collecting over €6,000 in prizes. A total of €24,000 in the year suggests that his amiable exterior hides something tougher inside.

Our first Tour Stop in Clonmel will boast an eye-catching €25,000 in total guarantees.
The €150 entry Main Event will have a €20,000 guarantee while the satellite at 8:00 PM will send at least five lucky players to the Cork Poker Festival(March 9th-12th), each one will win a package worth €1,000 covering a €500 entry into the €100k ME and three nights luxury accommodation in the Maldron Hotel in Cork City.
Ed Fogarty says that he will bring a massive crowd from Waterford to Clonmel and is looking forward massively to the Cork festival which follows soon afterward.
