Lucky Mo Wins Siege Of Clonmel
Tomas Geleziunas completed an amazing weekend for him in Clonmel by taking down the Main Event and €20,000 on Sunday night. Tommy G or Lucky Mo, depending on your preference, has been a major force in Irish poker since he swapped Lithuania for Navan a number of years ago, and a big Irish Poker Tour victory was always on the cards.
Oleksii Bekh, originally from The Ukraine, has played a number of Tour events over the last couple of years but his €12,000 for second place was by far his biggest score and he was suitably delighted, as was the ever popular Aidan Hynes who rolled his way to €8,000 for third.
Keith Touhey Retains Monsterstack
Keith Touhey is always good for a result in a side event and Clonmel is proving a happy hunting ground for the wee man. He won the Monsterstack here at the Siege of Clonmel 1 and he retained his title in fine style beating Emmett Mullin in the heads up.
The Talbot Hotel proved a great venue with all tournaments bulging at the seams. The IPT will return with Siege of Clonmel 3.
