Noel Murphy Takes Winter Fest Main Event After 5 Way Deal

Hometown boy, Noel Murphy took the Dublin Winter Festival Main Event trophy and €19,875 after a five way deal last night. After a great battle where all players agreed that the tournament structure gave everyone a very fair chance, Noel, Derek Baker, Shane Keary, Keith Touhey and Peter Roche agreed to take €18,875 each and then play on for a €1,000 plus the glory.

A great Sunday saw big entries in all the tournaments produced wins for Tomas Geleziunas (Dublin 400 and €8,020), Vincent Dynes (Monsterstack and €4,820), and Daryl McAleenan (€2,055).
