Paddy Power Poker Add €5,000 to Lúnasa Mystery Bounty
Advantage & Misery Bounties Included as New Feature

Irish Poker Tour partners and sponsors Paddy Power Poker are adding €5,000 worth of special bonus prizes to the Paddy Power Poker Lúnasa Lunacy Mystery Bounty tournament, which will be held in Dublin’s Green Isle Hotel starting at 1pm on Friday 23rd August.

The tournament has a €20,000 guarantee as well as the €5,000 added and costs a total of €250 to enter. The special bonus prizes will be added to the bounty pool and will consist of two accommodation and Main Event packages for the Killarney Festival in September worth €1,500 each and one VIP package for Killarney which includes accommodation, Main Event Entry PLUS an entry in to the Killarney Mystery Bounty Event (total value €2,000).

Advantage & Misery Bounties

In a new twist to the Mystery Bounty game, the Irish Poker Tour are adding an Advantage Bounty and a Misery Bounty feature to the Lúnasa Lunacy.

After the conclusion of Level 12, ten (10) Advantage Bounties and 10 Misery Bounties will be brought in to play. The next 20 players that knock out an opponent will immediately draw one of these bounties. All of these bounties will have a monetary value of €100 and, while some will help the player, some of these Bounties will bring some misery.

Advantage Bounties

1 x “Final Table Ticket” – One very lucky ‘Advantage’ player will draw this prize and automatically win a Final Table seat. They will start the Final Table with the average stack at that point.

5 x “Steal the Button” – Anytime during the current or subsequent level the ‘Advantage’ player can announce to the dealer and table that they are stealing the button for the following hand. The hand will be dealt as normal and pre-flop play will continue as normal, but the button will shift to the ‘Advantage’ player for the entire post-flop action. This will occur whether the ‘Advantage’ player sees the flop or not. After the hand the button will revert to its normal place and rotation.

4 x “Gain a Starting Stack” – These ‘Advantage’ players will immediately be awarded an additional starting stack.

Misery Bounties

5 x “Nit Tax” – one round of blinds and antes will be taken from the ‘Misery’ player and will be played for in the next hand as a ‘splash pot’. All players including the ‘Misery’ player can win these chips.

4 x “No Button for a Level” – the ‘Misery’ player will not be permitted to play their Button for the remainder of the current level.

1 x “Big Loser” – one unlucky player will be hit by both the “Nit Tax” and the “No Button for a Level” miseries PLUS their €100 bounty will be given to the player that they just eliminated from the tournament.

As with our other Mystery Bounty tournaments the cash and special bonus Mystery prizes will be added at the start of Level 15.
