Siege of Clonmel Returns For Round Three
Limerick €40k in A Day Completes Mid-West Swing
The Irish Poker Tour will swing through the Mid-West region over the last two weekends in May.
Firstly, we return to one of the hotbeds of Irish Poker; the Talbot Hotel in Clonmel, where many major poker events have been staged over the last two decades. The Siege of Clonmel 111 runs from Friday May 23rd to Sunday May 25th. This will be the strongest iteration of this Festival yet with guaranteed prizemoney raised to a minimum of €80,000 and a strong online and live satellite programme.
Events kick off at 13:00 on the Friday with the Cotton Club €10k In A Day. Named for our Festival partners, the Cotton Club in nearby Waterford, this tournament has a healthy €10,000 guarantee, 30,000 stack, and 30 minute clock with a €170+€30 entry. Day 1A of The Siege of Clonmel Main Event follows at 18:00. Entry again costs €170+€30 with a whopping €50,000 guaranteed. There are three more Day 1s on the Saturday. Each will play 15 levels with the survivors qualifying for Sunday’s Final (13:00). Day 1E, our beloved Hyper flight starts at 11:00 on Sunday. This has 8 x 10 minute levels with entry allowed up to start of Level 5.
Omaha 7-Max, Omaha 4/5 Cards, Monsterstack, and nightly NLHs complete the programme, along with fabulous Cash Action at all times of day and night.
The Castletroy Park Hotel is the venue for the Limerick €40k In A Day one day Festival on Saturday May 31st. The €30,000 guaranteed Main Event starts at 13:00. It costs €170+€30 to enter with 9x 30 minute levels of late entry and re-entry. There is a €7.5k NLH starting at 19:30 and Omaha kicing off at 21:00.
