Slattery Son Follows Father to Irish Poker Tour Glory

The Slattery family from Limerick has come to love the Irish Poker Tour’s major events. Brian Slattery took the massive €58,000 first prize in the premier event at the Road to Limerick Festival in February 2022 and now his son, Kyle, has added first prize at the inaugural Monster Festival. After a deal with Trevor Crawford, Kyle took the Monster title and €22,245. Trevor wasn’t too upset as he pocketed €20,000 himself.

An incredible 1,796 entrants produced a prize pool of €216,645, remarkable considering the entrance fee was a relatively paltry €150. Players came from all over the country and overseas ensuring that this new poker super-brand was launched in spectacular style.
