Summer In Dublin 2026 – Day 3 Wrap
The day before the final is always a spectacle. Players who have already bagged for the Main Event can relax and enjoy the side events or simply soak up the unmistakable atmosphere cultivated by the IPT. Those still searching for a seat in the final had three opportunities throughout the day to book their place.
Kicking things off was Summer in Dublin Day 1E, which attracted a total of 182 entries, adding further to the ever-growing prize pool. From this flight, 24 players progressed to the final day. Finishing with the biggest stack was Ville Rutane, who bagged an impressive 916,000.
Next up was the Saturday Omaha 250, where 27 entries took to the felt. As play progressed, the tournament reached the final four. By this stage, Eoghan Rogers held the overwhelming chip lead. The players agreed to pay fourth place before continuing to play for the title. Zula Zula collected €700 in fourth, Donal MacAonghusa finished third for €1,500, while Dermot Flanagan also banked €1,500 as runner-up. Taking home the trophy and the €3,500 top prize was Eoghan Rogers.
The Saturday €10K NLH Progressive Bounty 1A saw 56 entries register. With bounties available from the very first hand, the atmosphere around the poker room was noticeably livelier. From this flight, 7 players progressed to the final, with Jessie Bartlett bagging the chip lead on 372,000.
Summer in Dublin Main Event Day 1F got underway and, as is usually the case with this flight, it was another busy affair. A total of 256 entries made up the field, creating plenty of chips to battle over. 40 players successfully navigated the flight, with Edgaras Jankunas, finishing as chip leader on 685,000 .
The Saturday €10K NLH Progressive Bounty 1B Hyper completed the line-up for the Progressive Bounty Final. A total of 33 entries brought the prize pool to €10,250. A further six players advanced, with John J Ward bagging the largest stack of 267,000.
The final opportunity to qualify for Sunday’s Main Event came in the shape of Summer in Dublin Main Event Day 1G. This flight attracted another 153 entries, pushing the Main Event prize pool to €248,603. With one final flight still to come, it will be interesting to see where the prize pool eventually lands. From this flight, a further 19 players secured their place in the final, with Thang Van Nguyen bagging the biggest stack of 659,000 in the early hours of the morning.
The Saturday €10K NLH Progressive Bounty Final got underway with 13 players returning to battle for the title. As the field was whittled down, the final table took shape before eventually reaching the last three. By this point, a sizeable crowd had gathered around the table to cheer on their representative from The Midlands Card Club. The support appeared to inspire him, and Jessie Bartlett went on to claim the trophy along with €5,680 (€3,430 in bounties). Jose Delgado finished as runner-up, banking €2,762 (€512 in bounties), while Leon McDaid completed the podium in third, taking home €2,546 (€1,046 in bounties).
Well thats it for Day 3.
