The Monster 2026 – Day 4 Wrap
The bank holiday Sunday schedule kept the momentum building, with big fields and plenty of chips finding bags as the festival pushed deeper into the weekend.
The Monster Main Event Day 1H pulled in 254 entries, Shane Connolly progressed with the biggest stack from the flight, 566,000, as 28 players secured a bag. Not long after, The Monster Main Event Day 1i went even bigger, drawing 278 entries, Patrick Larkin putting together one of the standout stacks of the day, bagging 806,000 as 32 players moved through.
Alongside it, High Roller Day 1A attracted 69 entries, sending 17 players forward, with Santos Silva Diones top of the pile on 280,000. In contrast, High Roller Day 1B Hyper was a smaller affair, with 11 entries producing 4 qualifiers, WPT Global’s very own Thomas Murphy locked up his seat as chip leader with 174,000.
Later in the evening, the Sunday €10k added further action, pulling in 66 entries and building a €10,772 prize pool. A two-way deal was agreed heads up, leaving Daniel Lewis with €2,700 and the trophy, Keri Shaughnessy collecting €2,600, and Dragos Spridon securing €1,600 for third.
Into the night, The Monster Main Event Day 1J added another 160 entries to the tally, with 21 players advancing and Katie Harrington securing her spot with 458,000, keeping the steady stream of qualifiers flowing into Day 2.
Rounding things off, the High Roller Final closed the day with 80 entries and a €34,945 prize pool. A two-way ICM deal determined the finish, with Richard Halabi taking €9,185, Jason Tompkins securing €8,610, and Thomas Murphy picking up €4,800 to round out the podium.
Overall, numbers held strong across the board as the Monster continued to swell, with the room now fully settled into that late-weekend rhythm, full tables, big stacks, and plenty still left to play for heading into the next phase.
