Bratislava Poker Festival is a Huge Hit
Inaugural Event Beats All Expectations
The first-ever Bratislava Poker Festival at the Card Casino was a triumphant success! All players expressed delight at the quality of the casino, the range of high-value tournaments, and the warm atmosphere amongst the players and the staff.
Every tournament guarantee was smashed with €1,300,000 won by players. The main event, the Bratislava Grand Prix, had 1,113 entries and a prize pool of over €540,000. It was eventually won by Alex Dimogiorgis of Greece (€102,000) beating Bruce Dillan Lee (Germany, €93,000) after a heads-up deal. The best Irish performer was Galway-based Brazilian Andrey Cruz who finished 18th for €2,250.
