One of the absolute highlights of this poker year is the return of big-time poker to the iconic Gleneagle INEC Arena in Killarney from September 29th till October 2nd. Some of the most memorable events in Irish Poker history have taken place in these luxurious and beautiful surroundings and the Irish Poker Festival is certain to add a few more riotous pages to that colourful story.
The Festival opens fast at 2pm on the 29th with the Paddy Power Poker Mystery Bounty tournament. In this event, rather than winning a set bounty when knocking out an opponent, players who knock someone out on Day 2 win a ‘mystery’ bounty which can be anything from €400 to €5,000. This relatively new concept is taking off around the poker world and is proving to be massively popular. Paddy Power Poker is adding many extra prizes making this a must-play.

The Main Event of the Festival is the Irish Poker Cup. This has a chunky guarantee of €200,000 for a €500 entry. There are five Day 1 flights with the first on Thursday 29th starting at 6pm. Each flight is a freezeout though players can enter multiple flights. Day 2 starts on Sunday at midday and will play out to a finish. Anyone can win a seat for this great tournament in advance through our online partners Paddy Power Poker and those that do qualify for a chance to win a bonus €10,000 Sole Survivor prize.
